My First Food

Two days ago, Mommy fed me my first food ever while Daddy stood by with the camera. They called it “banana.”

When she first put something in my mouth, I was pretty surprised. (She’s usually trying to keep me from putting stuff in my mouth!) So then I figured out that it was supposed to be there and… I don’t know. It was ok. It was strange. But good, too.

I don’t know. I’m all kinds of confused.

I think I like it.

But I’m not sure.

It’s really different than the milk I’m used to.

We’ll see. Mommy says we can give it another chance, but I broke out in a rash after the banana incident so she says we have to wait.

I have rashes a lot, so Mommy’s pretty sure they’re unrelated. But both she and Daddy think it’s better to be on the safe side.

I guess that’s their job.

My Teeth

Remember how I said I had teeth? I tried to show them in one of my jumpy videos, but in case you didn’t watch that, I just wanted you to know that I was telling the truth. Here’s proof!

See, I have two bottom teeth!

Mommy says she really likes this outfit I’m wearing, because it almost looks like I’m wearing pearls. I don’t know what those are exactly, but Mommy says that I’ll have some one day, and that they make me look classy.

My Cousin

This past Thursday was a great day! My Aunt Natasha and Uncle Aaron came over to our house, and best of all my cousin Anna Lynn! We are only three months apart, which makes my Mommy and Daddy very happy. Mommy says that soon we’re going to be able to play together and she can’t wait for that.

Anna Lynn is hapa like me! Actually, we have lots in common: we’re both adorable… we both drink milk… we both like baby gyms… both have really cute dresses…

Oh and she has a blog too!

I was so glad that she came to visit. But Mommy and Daddy waited until the end of the day (very close to my bedtime) to take pictures of us. That means I didn’t really have too many smiles… I was pretty tired. And a little confused. I mean, it took me a while to get used to another baby sharing my space!

Even when I was lookin’ at her all crazy and everything, she was still very chill. She even smiled at my Daddy!

I want to post a video of us but Mommy says I have to explain it first. See, at the end of the video my cousin is crying. I think Mommy and Daddy expected me to do something, but what was I supposed to do? Anyway, Mommy wants me to be sure and say that when the video ends, Mommy was reaching for Anna Lynn to comfort her. And she stopped crying right away.

Ok, are you happy Mom?

Aren’t we cute?

My Front Porch

Toward the end of the day, when it’s getting close to bedtime, I can get a bit cranky.

Sometimes, though, Mommy and Daddy want me to stay up for a bit to make it to my normal bedtime. When that happens, they are looking for activities to keep me interested and happy.

Well, they found one.

Turns out that right outside our door is a street where cars drive by all the time.

I really find those cars to be so interesting! They are so fun to watch! A few days ago we stayed on the porch for thirty minutes, just watching the cars go by.

Apparently, Mommy and Daddy don’t think it’s quite as exciting, but they do think that my reaction is funny. And, of course, they wanted to video it.

Even though they think it’s funny that I like it so much, they keep taking me out there. I think they enjoy it, too. It’s pretty relaxing and a nice way to slow down before bedtime!

Mommy and Daddy pulled out a new toy for me! They’ve apparently had it for a while, but were just waiting until it seemed like I could put it to good use. I’ve been in it a few times now and I can definitely say that I like it. A LOT.

The first time, I didn’t really understand what I was supposed to do, so it was a little boring.

Then, the next time, I realized I could jump and move in it! That’s when I started really having fun, and getting really excited!

Oh, and you can actually see my teeth in this video if you look carefully. I already have two!

I’ve been having a great time playing! Aren’t I cute?

My Zerbert Face

I don’ t know if you’ve ever heard of what my Mommy calls a “zerbert.” Apparently different people call it different things, but whatever you call it, Mommy looooves to do it to me!

Honestly, I think it’s pretty weird. Which Mommy and Daddy know, because they’ve caught me making a funny face whenever she does it. Now she even does it just to see me make the face!

Occasionally, I do laugh. I mean, it’s kinda funny. But usually I just go like this:

My Tarzan

Ok, confession time: whenever my shirt’s off, I like to beat my chest and stomach.

(Mommy says I look like Tarzan when I do it, but I don’t even know that person. I’m assuming she must be pretty cute if I look like her.)

Mommy and Daddy ask me why I do this, but I never answer them. You know, I just like it. It’s fun.

I bet if they tried it, they’d like it too.

As usual, here’s the vid:

(Also, see me find my awesome feet!!)
